Lucerne is the Chapel Bridge, Lake Lucerne and the paddle steamers, but it is also the head office of Suva, a centre of insurance and services, and a solid industrial ring, from the lifts of Ebikon to the aircraft of Stans in the neighbouring canton. Lucerne SMEs are often hotels and restaurants handling bookings in five languages, old-town shops, brokers and fiduciaries, and mechanical or construction workshops supplying the big contractors of central Switzerland.
Tourism sets the tone of the requests: sorting and answering stay enquiries, preparing room and menu descriptions in several languages, sifting customer reviews to derive concrete actions. On the industry and insurance side it is rather about structuring service reports and finding a clause or a procedure in an internal corpus. In every case AI prepares, and a person confirms before any customer receives anything.
