Yes, if you use the business version of a tool and decide beforehand which data may go into it. On those plans your content is not used for training by default, and a data processing agreement governs the processing, as the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) requires. The main risk comes from free or personal accounts, and from data put into them without rules.
We sort data into three levels: internal (in the company’s tool), client (only in the approved tool, for the listed uses) and protected (sensitive data under the nFADP, professional secrecy, trade secrets: not in an external tool without a written decision). Also check where the data is processed: outside Switzerland and the EU you need a legal basis such as the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
