Test before choosing

The AI Workshop in Lugano lets your team test practical tasks with anonymised documents and choose a useful first experiment. Participants leave with a working method and review criteria before buying or building a solution.

01START WITH A REAL TASK

Example to discuss in Lugano: prepare a bilingual summary of a commercial exchange. During the workshop, participants use an anonymised sample, write an instruction and compare two outputs against their own reference. The outcome is a decision about usefulness and the checks required, rather than a deployment.

On site in Lugano, remote across Switzerland

Largest city in Ticino; a fabric of financial and real-estate services; business with Italy and German-speaking Switzerland means SMEs often work in several languages.

Lugano is Ticino’s most populous city and its financial centre: banks and wealth managers on the shore of Lake Lugano, property managers and developers, hotels and restaurants working with Italian and German-speaking clientele, and a university, USI, that brings computer-science and communication profiles. Many Lugano SMEs serve parent companies based north of the Gotthard or in Lombardy, and juggle Italian, German and English every day.

In Lugano, typical use cases concern banking and contractual correspondence to prepare in several languages, extracting information from land and lease documents, answering stay and event enquiries, and capturing documents for fiduciaries keeping cross-border accounts. Banking secrecy and data protection require that exercises be run on anonymised documents and with approved providers.

Lake Lugano also marks a tax and customs border: Lombard cross-border workers, traffic towards Chiasso and Como and export rules to Italy come up in many files, from employment contracts to invoices, and must be handled with the official texts in view.

Before the first conversation

Do participants need prior AI experience?

No. Exercises are adapted to the starting level. A shareable document and a real task are enough to prepare a useful session.

What can we decide after the workshop?

You can select a limited trial, its owner and success criteria. Connecting business systems requires separate scoping.

What format is available in Lugano?

A half-day or full day depending on the participants and exercises. Location, any travel and scope are agreed before confirmation.
